About the Role
I’m looking for dependable, compassionate individuals to join my support team as a Direct
Support Professional (DSP) or Personal Assistant. No healthcare experience or certifications required. Training is provided!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, and grooming
- Helping with meal prep and light household tasks
- Keeping my space tidy and organized
- Supporting daily activities and community outings
- Driving my accessible van (no personal vehicle needed, DSP will need a valid driver’s license and car insurance
Schedule: One overnight shift available. Preferably Sunday night, but flexible.
Pay: $26/hour while awake | $21/hour while asleep
Payroll managed by Seven Counties
Requirements:
- Reliable, patient, and willing to learn
- Comfortable assisting with personal care
- Able to safely assist with wheelchair transfers

Position Title: Housing Navigator
Job Summary
The Housing Coordinator provides housing-focused case management to individuals and families in need of housing support, with the primary goal of promoting housing stability and preventing homelessness. This position helps clients remain safely housed in their current residence or, when necessary, transition to more affordable, sustainable housing.
The Housing Coordinator engages directly with clients experiencing housing instability, including those facing eviction and unhoused individuals, by providing comprehensive housing case management, assessments, and referrals. This role also serves as a key liaison with community partners, local organizations, and the regional Continuum of Care (CoC) to address gaps in housing advocacy and supportive services.
As the Coordinated Entry (CE) Lead, the Housing Coordinator maintains and manages the CE list, participates in CE meetings, and ensures accurate prioritization and referrals through HMIS, the United Communities platform, and other referral systems. The position includes community connections, meetings, and coordination to support Coordinated Entry and to ensure proper use by organizations in Region 13.
The Housing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining program documentation, policies, and operations manuals; tracking housing stability metrics; pulling and writing reports; and supporting housing initiatives aligned with the Homeless Coalition of Southern Indiana’s strategic plan. The role also responds to requests from municipalities, schools, libraries, law enforcement, and other community partners regarding individuals and families in need of services, and participates in ongoing staff meetings and trainings to ensure coordinated, effective service delivery.
Job Responsibilities
Housing Stability: The Housing Coordinator will provide case management services to individuals in need of housing support. The goal is for individuals to remain stably housed in their homes, relocate to more affordable housing, or obtain homeownership. The Housing Coordinator will engage with the community, local organizations, and the regional Continuum of Care (CoC) RPC to address gaps in housing advocacy and supportive services for clients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Works with clients for eviction prevention
- Provide short and long-term housing case management
- Community engagement with local organizations for housing support
- Maintain the Coordinated Entry (CE) list as the CE Lead
- Attend community meetings
- Works towards housing initiatives that align with HCSI's strategic plan
- Perform assessments and prioritize for assistance through the coordinated entry process, HMIS, or other referral sources and databases
- Maintains all databases
- Maintains the Housing Stability WINS! Sheet and Metrics
- Writes reports as needed
- Respond to calls/requests from the community (e.g., municipalities, libraries, schools, law enforcement, etc.) regarding individuals and families in need of services, case management, or referral assistance.
- Regularly attend staff meetings and trainings.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in sociology, social work, psychology, human services, or a related field.
- Proficient in utilizing trauma-informed care, de-escalation, and crisis-intervention techniques, or ability to obtain training.
- Be able to self-start and work on their own
- Strong work ethic and service skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Staying up to date with services, policies, and regulations.
- Strong record-keeping and analytical skills.
- Valid driver’s license and insured transportation.
- Punctual and understands the importance of deadlines.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Some travel
- Some evenings
- Ability to be in-office with hybrid capabilities
