Graduate Dual Degrees
Sidebar
Complete two master’s degrees in a shorter time frame compared to pursuing them consecutively
A dual degree provides an opportunity to broaden your education. Joint degrees are offered with our Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) and Couple and Family Therapy programs (MSSW/MSCFT), the Brandeis School of Law (MSSW/JD), the Department of Pan-African Studies (MSSW/MA), the Department of Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies (MSSW/MA), the Department of Philosophy/Healthcare Ethics (MSSW/MA) and the Louisville Presbyterian Seminary (MSSW/MDiv).
Expand your skills for professional practice and open career opportunities as a graduate possessing two distinct and complementary degrees. Consider a dual degree and increase your credibility as an individual with multiple professional identities.
Our MSSW/MSCFT dual degree provides coordinated clinical competency-based training towards professional licensure in both Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT). The MSSW/MSCFT dual degree is offered as either a two-year or three-year program.
Graduates have a wide range of career options, including private practice, hospital settings, mental health agencies and family service organizations.
