Thank you for your interest in applying to the Bachelor of Social Work Program. All students who enter the BSW program begin in the Lower Division, then apply to the Upper Division of the BSW program.

Lower Division Applicants

Admission into the Lower Division of the BSW program does not guarantee acceptance into the Upper Division.  Students must apply to the Upper Division for acceptance. Please review the steps in the application process and information that needs to be submitted. Upper Division Applicants

The BSW Upper Division program will be accepting Spring 2026 Upper Division applications starting September 15th, 2025. 

Application Deadlines

The Upper Division BSW application deadline for Fall 2025 is:

  • PRIORITY DEADLINE:  March 1st
  • FINAL DEADLINE:  July 1st

The Upper Division BSW application deadline for Spring 2026 is:

  • PRIORITY DEADLINE:  October 1st
  • FINAL DEADLINE:  November 1st 

*Complete applications submitted prior to or on the Priority deadline will be reviewed and processed prior to priority registration for students who qualify. Students can continue to apply for the Social Work Upper Division until the Final deadline, though access to enroll in the Upper Division courses will be restricted to fully admitted students only.
